Originally constructed as a covered basketball court at a camp facility, The Pavilion was transformed through a design-build approach into an approximately 6,000-square-foot multipurpose retreat accommodating up to twenty overnight guests. The design incorporated and repurposed components from other structures, including commercial kitchen equipment and bunk beds, while balancing durability, functionality, and guest comfort. Level 1 includes a dining and meeting space, commercial kitchen, laundry, bunk room, ADA-accessible restroom, and additional shower and restroom facilities. Level 2 features an expansive game and television room, a second bunk room, laundry, and additional shower and restroom facilities. A large covered patio, grilling station, and storage garage extend the program outdoors, creating a versatile facility designed to support lodging, dining, recreation, and group gatherings.
