My approach to historic preservation and adaptive reuse balances respect for a building’s original character with the functional, accessibility, and performance needs of contemporary use. Through research, documentation, material evaluation, and thoughtful design interventions, I work to preserve significant architectural features while introducing new elements that remain sensitive to the history and integrity of the structure. My Interior Architecture and Design background allows me to approach historic spaces with an understanding of preservation principles, adaptive reuse strategies, code requirements, and the importance of giving existing buildings renewed purpose for future generations.
